Hi friends! In today’s post:
Live SCCM hacking: Thursday, March 20 at 1 p.m.
BPATTY has a new home
Another awful movie I reviewed so you don’t have to
Join us for live hacking at 1 p.m.
I realized I made a fat-finger boo-boo when I got an email asking why I scheduled a SCCM hacking livestream for 1 a.m. today. Ooops. I just fixed that in our calendar and I hope to see you at 1 p.m. today. Here’s a quick link to the YouTube broadcast if that’s easier. I’ll be joined by Joe “The Machine” Skeen, and we’ll pick up where we left off in part one. If all goes well, we’ll end the session as members of the best club in the world (besides 7MinSec Club): DOMAIN ADMINS!
BPATTY - now with extra Retype
If you take a gander at BPATTY (Brian’s Pentesting and Technical Tips for You) you will see it now runs on Retype! I still love Docusaurus, which the site was originally built on (and we did a livestream about). But I’ve had several work/personal projects come along where Retype has made a lot of sense, and it’s now the platform I’m most comfortable with using behind the scenes. Plus, it’s hard to beat the native search capabilities (you just publish your Retype content and it’s optimized for search, whereas I had to wait for a weekly reindexing from Algolia). The site is still super fast, ad-free, and I think most - if not all - if your old links should still work. See anything wonky? Let me know:
My pattern of watching awful movies continues
Over on my personal blog I dropped a review of The Gorge. I thought I read somewhere that it was Apple’s most watched thing in a short amount of time, or something like that. I wanted to like it really, really bad. And the first act - which is actually more of a romance/dramedy - was decent! But once the movie makes a quick right turn and we actually get to exploring the gorge, I should’ve done a quick turn off of the TV.
Have a blessed week!
Thanks,
Brian
