This week I talked through how 7MinSec is using a security ticketing system (JitBit specifically but they’re not a sponsor/advertiser) to help manage our internal infosec program. Specifically, we use tickets to:
Manage an asset inventory
Track incidents
Generate automatic tickets for important system maintenance (backups, patching, etc.)
